The R-100 Archery Tournament

This Sunday, Dale took the boys to another archery tournament, this time in Sedalia, MO. This one was a traveling tournament boasting exotic animal targets for the bowyers to shoot. You could choose between shooting American animals or African/exotic animals. Dale, Connor, and Colton of course did the exotics. The boys had a ton of fun, and can't wait to go back!

Archery Tournament

Dale took Connor and Colton to the Tri-County Archery Tournament in Basehor, KS this past Sunday. Dale's friend Tom and his son Jordan came along as well. The boys all got to walk around and shoot their bows at 40 different 3-D targets. The picture at the top shows Colton shooting at a Lion.
Every kid that participates in the tournament gets an award so they don't get disappointed if they don't place. Connor scored a 238 out of a possible 480, putting him in 3rd place in the 10 and under age bracket. He got a little bobblehead wolf as his trophy, of which he is very proud of. Colton and Jordan did not place but did well. Colton scored a 149 and Jordan scored a 205, they both recieved little dog tag medals that say "archery" on them. They were all VERY excited about their awards. The boys came home exhausted and filthy, so I know they really had a good time. :)

First Fishing day of the year!

Sorry it took so long to post this, back to school week is kicking my behind. :)

We took the boys to a friends pond last friday to go fishing for the first time this year. It was a beautiful day and the fish were biting. Colton was very excited to have caught a couple of fish on his own. Connor is beginning to want to fish like Daddy does. So we let him try fishing without a bobber a couple of times. He didn't catch anything that way, and got hung up a couple of times, but he was very excited to be like Daddy.

Best Joke Ever!

The boys have been telling a lot of jokes lately. Mind you, some of them are ones that they heard from a movie or a friend. But most of them are made up and make absolutely no sense whatsoever. And sometimes those jokes are so off the wall that you can't help but laugh. Yesterday Colton asked, "Why was the dog riding in the car?". I said, " I don't know, why?" He replied, "Because he was putting raisins on the trees!" AHH ha ha aha aha ha!!!

Sam and Ben's Baptism

Dale and I, along with Aunt Linda and Uncle Larry were honored today with being made Godparents for Sam and Ben. This was a very special day in their lives and we are proud to be included in it. I was Ben's Godmother and Dale was Sam's Godfather. The boys looked so sweet in their gowns. We love you boys!!

Thank You Aunt Linda and Uncle Larry!

The boys had a lot of fun with the Magnifier!!
Don't they look like bobble-heads? Tons of fun!!

Very Mature

I did find out recently what my children will look like in about 30 years. I think they look very handsome. We took these at their cousin Ryan's birthday in January.
